RÉUNION ANNUELLE DU RÉSEAU DES VILLES CRÉATIVES DE L’UNESCO
Les milieux montréalais du design, de la mode et de l’architecture sont conviés à un PechaKucha édition spéciale Villes UNESCO de design, réalisé en partenariat avec le Bureau du Design de la Ville de Montréal.
Beijing, Buenos Aires, Graz, Kobe, Nagoya, Saint-Étienne, Séoul, Shanghai et Shenzhen présenteront l’œuvre et la démarche créative de designers iconiques qui contribuent à la renommée et font la fierté de leur ville.

Cet événement aura lieu à la salle Bourgie du Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal à 14h.

Les événements PechaKucha Montréal sont de véritables plateformes d’échanges et de rencontres interdisciplinaires organisées avant tout avec l’objectif d’offrir une tribune publique aux créateurs de tous horizons. Ils y présentent des projets réalisés, en cours de réalisation, voire des projets auxquels ils rêvent. Ils nous font part de leurs réflexions et de leurs processus de création. Le concept est simple : chaque participant présente 20 images qu’il commente pendant 20 secondes.

PECHAKUCHA AFTERNOON MONTREAL – Edition #22
SPECIAL EDITION – UNESCO CITIES OF DESIGN
Tuesday, MAY 22, 2012, 2 pm
Hosted in conjunction with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network Annual Meeting.
The Montreal design, fashion and architecture milieu is invited to a PechaKucha UNESCO Cities of Design special edition, produced in collaboration with the City of Montreal’s Design Bureau.
Beijing, Buenos Aires, Graz, Kobe, Nagoya, Saint-Étienne, Séoul, Shanghai and Shenzhen will present the work and the creative process of iconic designers who promote the reputation and the pride of their city.
Followed by a presentation

The event will be hosted by the Montréal Museum of Fine Arts, Bourgie Hall, at 2 p.m.

PechaKucha Montreal events are veritable interdisciplinary exchange and meeting platforms organized with the goal of providing a public forum for researchers, creators and thinkers in all horizons. Participants present projects that have been completed, are under way or are still at the dream and idea stage. Presenters share their thoughts, creative processes and even their inspiration. The concept is a simple one: each participant presents 20 images with 20 seconds to comment on each one, making for rich and concise presentations.
